Glass and Ceramics

There is a big kiln out in the barn here i hope to get hooked up this spring. Some of the ceramics done through Kent State University are pictured below.




This next one was done by my talented friend Mollie Judge!


Working with clay is one of the most fun art forms there is!
Two interesting points about ceramics as opposed to glass and many other objects of art is, to the best of my understanding, that (one)small imperfections in the piece may not devalue them drastically and the prices tend to rise steadily rather than fluctuate greatly, and (two) ancient civilizations have left “fingerprints” through pottery and even though broken, have a story to tell.
