The Gibson girl was an iconic set of images which impacted the way women dressed and styled their hair for decades. I believe it also affected the way they saw themselves and helped meld a new image and behavior which added to an improvement in situation and lifestyle. This may have also assisted in the attitudes lending themselves to a grester sense of freedom along with more opportunity for education. Tell me i’m wrong. It may just be a feeling i get when i look at them. More respect.
The point being…art has a vast impact on life and the way we see ourselves. More than trends are set through images.
This video explains the hidden secret which could change the world. I met Ron Wyatt years ago in Akron, Ohio and listened to him and his family tell of this miraculous find! It is a mystery revealed! Workshops and retreats can be immensely helpful in any number of ways to writers, artists and craftspersons alike. If someone feels blocked…well, where there is a will there is always a way. Good research is helpful. Or, just tell the story, paint the picture and do more research later. There is always room for improvement, yes it is a lifelong journey! Look at Monet. He painted the same scene many times over in every kind of light, and learned.
Mowing won’t get done today
Most certainly it has to wait
Worked out in soft rain ’til late
Chilly feel, numb hands, no date
Though today turned into June
Just this morning…summer soon
Flood conditions persist, my tune
Must be something one can do
Read & write then trudge on out
Wade in ditches, trenches, doubt
Sun will make an appearance too
Soon enough, some better views
